Through the Consilium name, both businesses will continue to operate in the same way as they always have. The team from Direct Insurance London Market will continue to place specialist policies into the London market under the new name of Consilium, and ConsiliumRe will continue to place risks into the global reinsurance market, retaining its name, as the reinsurance broking arm of Consilium.
Points of contact will be the same and it will be the same teams working on placing your risks.
The joining of these teams will position Consilium as a significant broking business with a shared vision to provide access to more specialist markets and recruit the best talent that the market has to offer.
As part of this restructure, Direct Insurance Group will be renamed as Aventum, providing outstanding support to Consilium from its core teams, allowing us to focus on diversifying our offering and delivering for our brokers. Our Aventum colleagues in Marketing, Accounts, IT & Operations, Compliance, HR and Delegated Underwriting Authority are central to our aspiration to be the best broking business in the world.
